Dr. Rebecca Rifkin’s passion for veterinary medicine and equine care began at Auburn University, where she attended from 2006 to 2009. As a dedicated student, she not only excelled academically but also rode on Auburn's Division 1 Equestrian Team, showcasing her love for horses and commitment to excellence. In 2009, Dr. Rifkin achieved early acceptance into Auburn’s esteemed veterinary school, where she honed her skills and knowledge, ultimately graduating in 2013. Following her graduation, Dr. Rifkin completed internships at Pioneer Equine Hospital and California Equine Orthopedics between 2013 and 2015. Her dedication to large animal surgery led her to complete a rigorous residency at the University of Tennessee, finishing in 2022. Alongside her clinical training, she also completed her PhD in 2020, further solidifying her knowledge in the field. With a commitment to advancing her field and improving the lives of animals, Dr. Rifkin is excited to be starting her own practice to continue blending her love for horses with her professional journey.
